Ever since we got this place, I’ve been picking up pieces of vintage Homecrest here and there and beyond. It’s sturdy, comfortable, stylish, yet plain enough to fit in with everything else I’ve got. Oh, and the most important thing….it’s still affordable.
Prices have been creeping up, but I’ve managed to get good deals on my pieces so far… they were mass produced so there’s still some product out there.
I have so much fun is looking through their old catalogs online.
What I haven’t been able to find a deal on yet is…….
The Siesta Chaise….I want a pair of these babies for the CC and I to plop our tushes and watch Thing One and Thing Two play Badminton…right? RIGHT. Everyone needs a Siesta.

Damn, i was just so happy to see a pic of snow during this damn heat wave. If I was sweet at ALL I would have melted this week!!
Missed you this week!!
you are the Homecrest queen! someday i’ll get my hands on one of those little round tables. I love it all!!
So bummed I didn’t get to see you guys…wanted Mr. Romance to give us a preview of the encore….
These are great!
I’ve been a lurker for quite sometime, but the Homecrest brought me out of my hiding place! I share in your hunt for this same patio furniture, but you’ve got me beat!
We also live in Nashville and are obsessed with mid-century home items like you! I’m always confused how I haven’t run into you yet!!
Welcome…I’m sure we’ve already crossed paths in our junking ventures!
I just realized that I’ve never seen a photo of you to actually know if I have run into you! haha
Perhaps we’ll have a showdown at the flea this week!!
I have the Siesta chaise and just purchased 2 side chairs as well. LOVE EM! The base on my chairs is slightly different, but they rock and swivel and look kinda like the ones from Homecrest on your site. They came with a removable cushion in a cream “naugahyde” (sp?). I want to purchase a cushion for my chaise that’s the same as the one that came with my chairs. Any suggestions?
Ebay is your best bet…or take in the cushion you have to an upholsterer and have a match made? Congrats on your scores!!
We had a pair of the swivel rockers sand blasted then power coated black, and use a thin bottom cushon only. They look awesome in a mid century office setting.
I have one of these Siesta Chaises and I would like to sell it as I do not have room for it anymore
It needs to be re-painted..
Are you in the US?
