The new August 1st start date for school ended our summer a little early this year. When we got back from Maine, we hit the ground running, and I feel like I’m finally starting to get a handle on things as we settle into the school year. Here are a ton of snaps from the end of the summer..mostly the magic that is Maine, and a few back home taking Otto to his first concert…Woofstock.
I’ll be back to update you on this past weekend’s flea market and the impending bathroom reno.

Beautiful pics! I would love to see that part of the world one day.
Your photos are breathtaking. I enjoyed them on Instagram this summer. It’s hard to pick favorites, but that chain link photo is right up there. Had such fun at the flea! Did you go back Sunday?
Thanks Ladies! I did not go back to the flea to rescue the velvet couch..
Next time we won’t let the heat addle our brains.
Um hello wordpress? I don’t know what’s going on with the photos….sorry peeps, this is a new one.
Love the pics. Had a great time at Flea.
Hey Im curious what part of Maine this was. All of the images look so beautiful! We would love to go one day but have no idea where to stay. Thank you!
Elena- There’s a lot to see in Maine! While areas to the South around Portland are very popular, we were further North in the area considered Downeast, not far from Acadia National Park. The photos were taken in areas ranging from Penobscot Bay to Frenchman’s Bay as we were staying in Castine, which is between Belfast and Bar Harbor. It is a beautiful state and we hope to return many times.
