Before I pack up my summer vignette to make way for ravens and spider webs, I figured I should document a little before and after.
It’s easy to forget how it was until you go through the old photos…after all, that’s why I started this thing… so for once, we can have proof of how much we did when it all goes fuzzy.
I hate storm doors as a rule, but with no overhang, there isn’t really a choice. Building a small overhang could work, but we don’t want it to distract from the architecture. Until we get that figured out, I’m stuck on any other ways to get rid of the door without creating a massive moisture problem.
Her console was actually pretty great up close.
The painting is by Bob Burdette. The buffet I found down in Franklin for $300…they HATE deco and mid century down there so it’s all good for me.
