In an attempt to redeem myself…and to take a step away from the unfinished projects…let’s roll into the weekend with a little fawn love, shall we?

Our fawns are growing so fast…spending more time a little farther away from mom, and no longer nursing…best we can tell.  They are getting much more comfortable around the house, and us, so we feel a sort of protective responsibility towards them….like untouchable pets from a distance.

$15 for the Pair on Etsy

In another life, I’d have been a potter.  For now, I’ll admire the work of others- like these swank little numbers from etcArts in Lincoln, Nebraska (via Etsy).  In these, I envision a nice cold sake on a warm night.  Others may see tequila.  Either way, these “shot glasses” deserve a better moniker.  When I hear “shot glass”, I have visions of Daytona Beach or Dollywood, no?  These, my friends, are handmade vessels.
