Big miss on the Friday Flea….I somehow forgot to include one of the more interesting items of the day….a “Zebra Tooth Necklace”. Can we discuss this?
I wish I’d taken more shots of it.

Big miss on the Friday Flea….I somehow forgot to include one of the more interesting items of the day….a “Zebra Tooth Necklace”. Can we discuss this?
I wish I’d taken more shots of it.
So, instead of picking up the hundreds of branches in the yard and calling the tree company, I find myself quite distracted by this lamp I saw on Remodelista today. It’s modern yet warm…just what I want for this house…
Today’s flea was an auditory affair. “It’s hot as Hades, Idinit?….Hot as a bug on a lightbulb….so hot the corn is popping in the field…” You get the picture.  In between hearing all these fab comments from fellow shoppers and vendors, I heard some Michael Jackson tributes, which put a smile on my face. I turned the corner to hear a little Robert Plant and Allison Krauss, then some big band….all while the race cars from the adjacent Nashville Speedway kept a low roar going. Fun day for the ears.
Not a stellar shopping day though, but maybe it was because I was dehydrating quickly and losing focus. I turned the first corner to see this…could it be a hunky burly table?
Aw, now! Why did they have to go and ruin it with that?!
Moving on…..
Too bad the veneer was toast on these…too much work needed for the money.
This woman is retail all the way, but I think she’s been doing well…I’ve never photographed her stuff since it’s not my thing, but I know a lot of people love this…tons of french furniture kitted out in burlaps and printed grain sacks. She’s also indoors and I spent longer indoors today than usual, for obvious reasons.
I loved looking at this giant water lilly…..so what did I get today?
A pair of stools needing some love and a little tree….I spent a whopping $22 today. Must. Take. Cold. Shower. Now.
Auction time at Wright again…so you know what that means….droolfest! Everything I loved seemed to be in pairs..go figure.
Pair Vidal Grau dining tables c. 1970 $4-6k

For my new readers, here is the lottery picks disclaimer: When I win the lottery, I will spend my new wealth on these shallow and meaningless objects only when the aged parents, charitable causes and purchase of an overseas home have all been attended to…c’mon..I’m not a COMPLETE monster.
Just saw these on the Crate and Barrel Outlet site and had to share…only $14.95 and can hold up to 220 pounds. Â Also in white and lime green.
I had to be quick at the flea today….so I couldn’t go in every nook and cranny….
I thought that yellow dinette was perfect for some youngster..4 chairs total.
I loved this….it’s actually a bench to some huge organ, but it’s too tall to be a bench in real life…but could be a great console….
My attraction to orange has not waned…..
I got excited when I saw this….
Then less so at $175……
The thing I’m wishing I’d picked up for the booth the most…..
These fab end tables…dammit.
Looking at the photos I hate myself now…it was hard to snap these as I was smushed up against an armoire to get this weird angle. They SO won’t still be around later…That’s what I get for hiking 4 miles before the flea…fuzzy judgment. Have a great weekend!
